This thesis concerns with the synthesis of a series of novel supermolecule complexes and supramolecular polymers. 1D- and 2D- Supermolecule Complexes of general formula [M(tba)2(H2O)2] {where M= Co(ІІ): 3a, Zn(ІІ): 3b, Fe(ІІ): 3c, Mn(ІІ): 3d and Ni(ІІ): 3e; Htba: 3-benzoyl-1,1,1-trifluoro acetone (1a)} have been prepared by the self-assembly reaction. These Supermolecule Complexes have been extended to construct 1D- and 2D- Supramolecular Coordination Polymers of the general formula [M(tba)2(bpy)]n {where M= Co(ІІ): 5a, Zn(ІІ): 5b, Fe(ІІ): 5c, Mn(ІІ): 5d and Ni(ІІ): 5e; bpy = 4,4`-bipyridine (4)}. The electronic and thermal properties of the prepared compounds are reported.

The molecular structure of 3c has been discussed. In which the coordination geometry of Fe(ΙΙ) center ion is distorted octahedral. The crystal data has obtained for 3c: C40H25F12FeO8, triclinic, P-1, a = 10.3560 (11)Å, b = 13.3161(11)Å, c = 14.6620(19)Å, α = 108.536(10)º, β = 99.002(10)º, δ = 92.705(8)º, Z = 2.  In addition, the molecular structure of 3c show three different types of the non-covalent intermolecular π-π interaction are present between the different phenyl ring of the coordinated ligand units and the non-coordinated ligand unit are found in the structure.
