تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على العلاقات السعودية الإماراتية، وأثر ذلك على منطقة الخليج بصفتها من أغنى الدول من حيث الموارد النفطية، وما يشكله هذا البعد من أهمية في العلاقات مع الدول العربية والدول الأجنبية، وبخاصة في ضوء ما تشهده الساحة العربية من أحداث صاحبت الربيع العربي، وبروز المواقف المتضادة إزاء العديد من القضايا؛ مما يجعل هذه العلاقات مرشحة للنمو والاضطراد في مختلف المجالات، ومن هنا تأتي أهمية البحث في دراسة تاريخ هذه العلاقات وتطورها والعوامل المؤثرة فيها.

This study aims to shed light on Saudi Arabia UAE relations, and the impact on the Gulf region as one of the richest countries in terms of oil resources, and the threat of this dimension of the importance of relations with Arab states and foreign countries, particularly in the light of that seen in the Arab arena of events accompanied the spring Arab, and the emergence of contrasting attitudes towards many issues; making these relationships a candidate for growth and Aladtarad in various fields, hence the importance of research in the study of the history and evolution of these relations and the factors affecting them.
