تتناول هذه الدراسة موضوع (أحمد بن عبد الله السالم شاعراً), وجاءت في تمهيد وثلاثة فصول, يعرض التمهيد: حياة الشاعر وآثاره.

وتناول الفصل الأول القضايا التي شغلت الشاعر, وهي: القضايا الروحية, والقضايا الاجتماعية, والقضايا الوطنية, والقضايا القومية.

وتناول الفصل الثاني المظاهر الأسلوبية عند الشاعر وهي: التناص بأنواعه؛ الديني, والأدبي, والتراثي, والتكرار, والرمز الديني, والأدبي’ والشخصي, والتاريخي.

أما الفصل الثالث: فيتناول اللغة الشعرية والأسلوب, والموسيقا, وأهم الأساليب الإنشائية في شعر السالم.

وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج, على رأسها بروز ظاهرة النزعة الإسلامية والوطنية والاجتماعية عند الشاعر, مما جعله يتكئ على التقريرية المباشرة, والتكرار وتوظيف التراث, وظاهرة المقارنة بين حالين أو زمنين مختلفين. وغلبت على شعره العاطفة الدينية المشوبة بالحزن لما آل إليه حال الأمة من هزائم وخيبات, معالاهتمام بوحدة القصيدة الموضوعية.

Abstract
“Ahmad Bin Abdullah Alsalem as a Poet”

This study deals with the subject of “Ahmad Bin Abdullah Alsalem as a Poet”. This study consists of an introduction and three chapters. The introduction deals with the poet’s life and works. The first chapter discusses the subjects presented by the poet such as spiritual, social, patriotic and national subjects. The second chapter analyzes the poetic language in terms of Intertextuality with its types: religious, literary and traditional. Moreover, the chapter studies repetition and personal, religious, historical and literary figures. The third chapter discusses the poet’s language and diction, as well as, music and the most important compositional styles.

The study concluded that the poet’s Islamic, patriotic, national and social tendencies in his poetry are very prominent. This made him rely on direct decisiveness, repetition, folklore use and his tendency to make comparisons between two different situations or periods. His poetry was marked by religious emotions mixed with sadness resulting from his nation’s defeats and discomfitures. At the same time, he pay attention to the poem’s thematic unity.
