تهدف هذه الدّراسة إلى التعريف بشاعر عراقي أسهمت مؤلفاته الشعرية في تطوير الحركة الشعرية في العراق وهو حازم التميمي، فقد كشفت الدّراسة عن جوانب متعدَّدة من شعرهِ، وجاءت الدراسة في تمهيد وثلاثة فصول، يعرض التمهيد حياة الشاعر وأهم محطات حياته الشعرية وآثاره الأدبية.
وتناول الفصل الأول الأغراض الشعرية التي طرقها الشاعر، وهي : الرثاء، والمديح ، والغزل، والشكوى.
وتناول الفصل الثاني الظواهر الأسلوبية عند الشاعر، وهي: التناص بنوعيه؛ الأدبي، الديني، والتكرار بأشكاله؛ والرمز بأنواعه
أما الفصل الثالث فيتناول اللغة الشعرية والأسلوب، والصورة الفنية وأنماطها ومصادرها في شعر حازم التميمي.
وخلصت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج وهي بروز ظاهرة النزعة الإسلامية والإنسانية والاجتماعية عند الشاعر، ويتكئ الشاعر على التكرار وتوظيف التراث في أغلب أشعاره، والمقارنة بين حالين أو زمنين مختلفين، كما يستخدم الشاعر مفردات جزلة بعضها نادر في الشعر المعاصر.

This study aims at identifying an Iraqi poet whose poetic writings contributed to the development of the poetic movement in Iraq; he is Hazem Al-Tamimi. This study revealed various aspects of his poet. The study consists of a preface, three chapters. The preface introduces the poet's life and the most important stages of his poetic life as well as his contributions.
The first chapter addresses the poetic purposes which the poet dealt with, namely: lamentation, praise, love poetry, and complaint.
The second chapter addresses the stylistic phenomena of the poet, namely: intertextuality with its two types; the literary, and the religious, repetition with its forms, and the symbol with its different types.
The third chapter addresses the poetic language, the style, as well as the artistic image, its patterns and sources in the poetry of Hazem Al-Tamimi.
The study concluded a number of results, including the emergence of the phenomenon of Islamic, humanitarian and social tendency in his poetry. The poet relies on repetition, employing heritage in most of his poems as well as the comparison between two scenarios or two different times. The poet also uses strong vocabulary; some of his vocabulary is rare in the contemporary poetry.
