Factors Affecting Buying Decision of Fashionable Apparel

This study aims at investigating factors that have significant effect on buying decision of fashionable apparel .Data were collected using a questionnaire consisted of 40 "likert type items from a convenience sample of 422 respondents .Independent sample t-test, one way ANOVA and Regression analysis were performed to test the stated hypotheses. Results of the study indicated that price had no significant influence on buying decision of fashionable apparel. It is found that promotion , brand name , country of origin , store's attributes , and physical quality influenced buying decision of fashionable apparel .Furthermore, findings indicated that there were no significant differences between university students in Jordan towards factors influencing their buying decision of fashionable apparel in relation to demographic characteristics .This study gives apparel companies a better understanding of the factors influencing buying decision of fashionable apparel in the Jordanian context.
