Abstract

 

The Impact of Time Management in the Job performance Among Workers An Applied Study at Saudi Telecom Company(STC)

The study aimed at exploring the effect of time management in the job performance among workers in the Saudi Telecom Company(STC). To achieve the aim of the study a questionnaire was developed and used to collect the data. It was distributed to a sample of (426) subjects. The Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS. V.16) was used to a analyze the data of the questionnaire. The most important findings of this study were the following:

1.     The perceptions of the respondents toward time management were at moderate while perceptions of the respondent toward the job performance were high  .

2.     There is an impact of a collective time management dimensions in job performance  which explained (64.6%) of the deviation in the dependent variable (job performance).

3.     There are significant statistical differences (α ≤ 0.05)  in the perceptions of time management attributed to (academic qualification, job level, age, and experience) variables, and significant differences exist (α ≤ 0.05) in the perceptions of job performance attributed to (academic qualification, job level, age, and experience) variables.

The study recommends the need to work on creating a regulatory environment that promotes the most effective use of time management in the regulatory environment, and by working to educate workers in the company in order to improve job performance.
