Abstract
The impact of Privatization of the Electricity Company of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia
at the employee’s performance level

This study aims to analyze a nd measure the impact of privatization (organizational and economic factors) on the levels of performance of workers in the Electricity Company of Riyadh region, and measuring the differences in the attitudes of employees towards the impact of privatization on the performance of workers according to personal and functional variables, the study was launched from the main premise, that there is no statistically significant effect at a level of (0.05 ≥ α) to the dimensions of privatization (organizational, and economic) in the performance of Electricity Company employees in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, this study adopted the descriptive analytical method. The study Population consisted of all workers in the Electricity Company of Riyadh, which reached approximately ( 6127 ) employees from all managerial level upper, middle and lower levels, a random sample was selected with a percentage of (6%) of the study, and thus the study sample consists of (360) administrative and technicians employees from all administrative and technical levels.
The study found that there is a statistically effect at the level of (0.05 ≥ α) for each of the independent variables (organizational and economic factors) on the following variable (job performance), a strong positive impact, also noted that the variables of knowledge management explain what rates (75.6%) of the size of the variation in the effect of the dimensions of privatization (organizational, and economic) in the performance level of employees of Electricity Company in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The study recommends working on examining and analyzing the reality of human resources in enterprises that are privatized in order to know their positions and attitudes of the privatization process because it will have a direct impact on their success.
