Abstract

 

The Impact of Internal and External Change Factors on Organizational Excellence Among Workers in the Centers of the Ministries in Saudi Arabia

An Applied Study from the Perspectives of Employees

The study aimed at recognizing the impact of internal and external change factors on organizational excellence among workers in the centers of the ministries in Saudi Arabia. To achieve the aim of the study self administrated questionnaire was used to collect the data. It was developed and distributed to a sample of (1107) subjects. The statistical package of social science (SPSS V.16) was used to a analyze the data of the questionnaire. The most important findings of this study were the following:

1. The employees' perceptions of internal and external change factors were at high level, and their perceptions toward organizational excellence was also high .

2. There is an impact of internal and external change factors in organizational excellence which explains (61.2%) of deviation in the dependent variable (organizational excellence).

3. There are significant differences (α ≤ 0.05) in the respondents perceptions of internal and external change factors attributed to (academic qualification, age, and experience) variables, and significant differences exist at (α ≤ 0.05) level in the respondents perceptions of organizational excellence attributed to (academic qualification, age, experience, and Job level) variables.

The study recommends the need to work on creating an organizational culture that enhance organizational change factors, and improve the strategies to the higher desired levels, through the development of skilled workers and provide a vision of a clear strategy for the ministries and objectives, in order to achieve organizational excellence.
