مستوى امتلاك طلبة قسم اللغة العربية في جامعة مؤتة لمهارات التفكير الإبداعي

 

 

This study aimed at identifying the level of creative thinking among the students of language departments at the University of Mu'tah according to the variables (gender, accumulative average). Torrance test for creative thinking, image of words (a) was applied on a sample of (70) male and female students of all the students of the fourth year of BA students in the Department of Arabic Language for the first semester of the academic year 2015/2016. The arithmetic means, standard deviations, and analysis of variance (2 Way ANOVA) in addition to the test of Schaffe for the post comparisons were performed and the results of the study concluded that the students of Department of Arabic Language have the creative thinking skills with a medium degree, and there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between the degree at which the students of Department of Arabic Language have authenticity and flexibility according to the variable of gender in favor of females and the study results showed that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) between the degree at which the students of Department of Arabic Language have authenticity according to the variable of accumulative average in favor of the excellent estimation.

 

The study recommended about a number of recommendations, the most important is to pay more attention for the development in general thinking skills and developing the creative thinking skills, in particular for the students of Department of Arabic Language.
