Abstract

Difficulties Facing the Implementation of Practical Counseling in the Schools of general education from the Perspective of Educational Leaders and Counselors  in Saudi Arabia

This  study aimed  at investigating the difficulties facing the implementation of practical counseling in the schools of general education from the perspective of educational leaders and counselors  in Saudi Arabia.

The sample of the study consisled of (250) educational leaders, and (107) counselors.

The researcher developed a scale to measure difficulties facing the implementation of practical counseling, The scale consisted of (49) items, distributed on six fields.

Results showed  that Sort difficulties (counselors' educational leaders Point of view) were as follows (Between the level high and medium): The media side of the process counseling, Preparation and Training Administrative, education, and family support ,Place practical counseling Technical side to practical Counseling, Direction  towards the practical guidance.

The results also showed that There are differences of statistical significance at the level of (α=0.05) due to the variable of the qualification  favor highest  studies, where There were no statistically significant differences due to years of experience in education and counseling, and specialization, and type of school building.

The results also showed that There are differences of statistical significance at the level of (α=0.05) due to the variable of the qualification favor highest studies (Masters), and experience in leadership favor near experience, where there were no statistically significant differences due to years of experience in leadership, and specialization.

In ligt of the results of the syudy the resersh propesed to lowing recommendations., expansion in the specialty of counseling In Saudi universities, prepare media programs, and the establishment of courses aimed at leaders for assistance roles in the success of the process counseling.
