Abstract


The Impact of Organizational Climate at the Level of Work Motivation An Empirical Study of the Diwan of Royal Court in the Sultanate of Oman

The study aimed at recognizing the organizational climate and its impact on work motivation at the Diwan of Royal Court in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve the aim of the study self administrated questionnaire was used to collect the data. It was developed and distributed to a sample of a (  629  ) Questionnaire were distributed in, (  528) out of them were found fit for statistical analysis. The statistical  package of social science (SPSS.16) was used to a analyze the data of the questionnaire,. The most important findings of this study were the following:

1.     The level of awareness of employees toward organizational climate and work motivation were at  high level.

2.     There is an impact of organizational climate dimensions in work motivation which explains (59.8%) of variation in the dependent variable (work motivation).

3.     There are significant differences (α≤0.05)  in the level of awareness of organizational climate attributed to (academic qualification, age, and experience) variables, and significant differences exist (α≤0.05) in the perceptions of work motivation attributed to (academic qualification, age, and experience) variables.

The study end up with a set of recommendation such as the administration Diwan of Royal Court increased focus on creating an organizational health by increasing the degree of independence of the Diwan and staff. and create trust and cohesion between management and workers, which enhances motivation to work.
