The Impact of Crisis Management Stages to Achieve Social Responsibility an
Applied Study in the Saudi Electricity Company

The study aimed at recognizing the impact of crisis management stages to achieve social responsibility. To achieve the aim of the study self administrated questionnaire was used to collect the data. It was developed and distributed to a sample of ( 418 ) subjects.

The statistical package of social science (SPSS V.16) was used to a analyze the data of the questionnaire,.

The most important findings of this study were the following:

1. The employees' perceptions of crisis management stages were at high level, and their perceptions toward social responsibility came at medium level.

2. There is an impact of crisis management stages dimensions in social responsibility which explains (56.9%) of variation in the dependent variable (social responsibility).

3. There are significant differences (α≤0.05) in the respondents perceptions of crisis management stages attributed to (academic qualification, age, experience, and social status) variables, and significant differences exist at (α ≤ 0.05) level in the respondents perceptions of social responsibility attributed to (education level, age, experience, and social status) variables.

The study recommended the need to work to enhance the crisis management strategies and dimensions of social responsibility, through the creation of a database and information systems, able to contain the crisis and before they escalate and harm mitigation when they occur by relying on methods and modern methods in dealing with crises.
