هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على مستوى إشباع الحاجات النفسية والاجتماعية لدى المتفوقون تحصيلياً وعلاقته بالتكيف لديهم، والكشف عن الاختلاف تبعاً لمتغيرات الصف، النوع الاجتماعي، مستوى الاقتصادي، مستوى تعليم الوالدين، عدد الأخوة. لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم تطوير مقياسين احدهما لقياس الحاجات النفسية والاجتماعية مكون من ( 40 ) فقرة توزعت على بعدين هما البعد النفسي والاجتماعي، أما المقياس الآخر فيقيس التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي وتألف من ( 50 ) فقرة توزعت على بعدين هما التكيف النفسي والتكيف الاجتماعي، تكونت عينة الدراسة من ( 230 ) طالباُ وطالبه من الطلبة المتفوقين، منهم ( 110 ) من الذكور و( 125 ) من الإناث في لواء المزار الجنوبي، وتم اختيارها بالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى جملة من النتائج أبرزها: إن مستوى الحاجات النفسية والاجتماعية كان بدرجة متوسطة، ولا يوجد فروق في مستوى الحاجات النفسية والاجتماعية تبعا لكل من الصف، النوع الاجتماعي، والمستوى الاقتصادي، ومستوى تعليم الوالدين، وعدد الأخوة. كما أن مستوى التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي كان بتقدير مرتفع، لا يوجد فروق في مستوى التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي تبعا لكل من الصف، النوع الاجتماعي، والمستوى الاقتصادي، ومستوى تعليم الوالدين، وعدد الأخوة. وكما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود علاقة ارتباطية بين التكيف النفسي والاجتماعي والحاجات النفسية والاجتماعية
Psychological and Social Needs' Satiating Level Among Upper Basic Stage

This study aimed to identify the level of psychological and social needs' among academic high achievers and its relation with adjustment among them, and to identify the difference based on grade, gender, the economic level, parents' educational level, and siblings' number variables. To achieves the goals of the study, two scales were developed, one to measure psychological and social needs and included (40) items distributed on two dimensions: the psychological dimension and the social one, the other scale measured the psychological and social adjustment and included (50) items distributed on two dimensions : the psychological adjustment dimension and the social dimension one. The sample of the study was selected using the random stratified approach and included (230) male and female students (110 male and 125 female students) from the Directorate of Education in Southern Mazar. The study concluded with a group of results the moist important among which that the level of satiating psychological and social needs was at medium level , there were no differences in psychological and social needs' level based on gender, the economic level, parents' educational level, and siblings' number variables, results also indicated no correlation between psychological adjustment and psychological needs and finally indicated significant statistical differences in psychologic and social.
