Abstract
The Effect of using computerized training program in improving and developing reading comprehension on the
sixth primary grade, in the reading and conserving platform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

This study aimed to build a computerized training program to improve reading comprehension and the development of the sixth primary grade students, in the reading and conserving platform in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and test its effectiveness comparing with normal teaching method by answering the question that summarized by: Is there a significant differences under level of significance (α = 0.05) between the performance of the sample in the test related to the teaching methods? (Computerized training program and the normal one) .
The study sample consisted of (45) students from sixth grade students were divided into two groups: a control and consisted of (22) students from the School of King Abdul Aziz, primary and learned of educational material in the normal way.
The experimental group consisted of (23) students from the School of Ammar bin Yasser primary and learned of educational material using a computerized tutorial program.
To achieve the objectives of the study was based test the possible verification of sincerity and steadfastness, by showing it to specialist arbitrators to apply it to the sample and calculate Reliability coefficient by using "koder-Ritchardson " equation, that have a value equal to 0.77.
The computerized educational program have six lessons from the book and reading the archives for the sixth-grade primary school in Saudi Arabia for the academic year 2010/2011 in order to develop reading comprehension among students.
The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the means degrees of members of the study sample collection to test reading comprehension due to the teaching method by computer against the normal way
