The Effectiveness of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Diplomaا in Developing Teaching Skilly among Social Studies Teachers in Jordan

The current study aimed at identifying the effectiveness of the information and communication technology (ICT) in Diploma developing the teaching Skilly among social studies teachers who obtained this program in Jordan.

To achieve the aimes of the study; a questionnaire was degsineed to measure the effectiveness of (ICT) to developing teaching Skilly among social studies teachers in Jordan, The questionnaire consisted of (44) items was distributed on three dimensions" planning, implementation and evaluation and its reliability and validity were measured. A random sample was administered to124 teachers (male and female).

The findings of this study were as the follows: The degree of the effectiveness of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) diploma in developing Teaching Skilly among social studies teachers was high, with mean of (4.13) and standard deviation of (0.37). All response of the based questionnaire were achieved with high degree. where the response to the planning field has got the place with mains (4.17) and standard deviation (0.43).the response at evaluation has got the second place with means(4.12). and standard deviation (0.46).and the respose to implementation has got the third with mean of (4.09) and standard deviation (0.41). Results have been drawn that the effect of the information and communication (ICT) diploma don't vary according to specialization. while it varies according gender in favor for male, with many differences were attributed to the interaction between gender specialization.
